Workshops and Speaking Engagements

I maintain an active schedule of workshop teaching and guest lectures worldwide. I was an early adopter of the solution-focused and narrative approaches, and had the good fortune to train with the originators of these therapies in the 1980s and early 1990s. I have provided training in the solution-focused and narrative approaches since the early 1990s. I’ve presented at major conferences in North America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia, receiving higher than average evaluations. I work to connect complex theoretical ideas, practice-oriented wisdom, and inspirational ideas about the mission, challenges, and rewards of being a human service practitioner.

I am available to teach workshops on a variety of topics.
